Rock Climbing and Rappelling Dates set for 2004

 

Rock Climbing and Rappelling Instructor Class is set for September 10-12 and October1-3 at Camp Orr. Attendance at both weekends is required to complete the course. Instructor candidates must register by September 3, 2004 at the Scout Office. Instructors who need to re-certify may do so by serving on this year’s staff. Scouts age 16-17 may certify as Instructors-in-Training and adults over 18 may certify as Instructors. Cost is $35.00.

“Venture Weekend on Rope” is set for October 1-3 at Camp Orr cost is still only $12.00 and includes a t-shirt. Registration packets are available at the Scout Office. BSA requires a “Parental Consent” form for each participant. Please reproduce the form in the packet and bring a signed form for each participant. These forms must be turned into WOR staff at check-in. The deadline to turn in registration at the Scout Office is September 15, 2004.
