Troop 316 To Host
District YLT Sept. 16 & 17
 
James Eichling is heading up this training for the district and we would like a larger group to make it more fun and challenging for the scouts.  All the adults of Troop 316 will be attending an adult leader training/preparation session on 9/10/05.

 

The planned location for the Youth Leader Training is at "The Farm" in Barling, AR.  This is a friend of the Rainwater's.  If the attendance is too large, over 50, we will need to move this to RSR.

 

Our plan is to allow camping at "The Farm" on Friday Night, they have a few fire rings and some barns with city water.  The horse stables have a bathroom.

The YLT training would start at 9 on Saturday and end at 6 Saturday night.



Lunch would be provided, and we can also provide a dinner cookout at 6 pm Saturday if desired,  We would need to know the number attending for this.

Total       $17.00

 

Units would need to do their own trip requests, and provide their own camping equipment and Friday dinner/ Saturday breakfast.  Spending the night is optional.

 

It will also be required for each scout to bring a chair as we will be meeting in the arena area and they will not want to sit on the ground...if you know what I mean.  It's looks really clean, but there have been horses in there.
