Gentlemen,

I have been chosen to be the 2nd Assistant Scoutmaster for the World Jamboree Troop SR8.  I am still recruiting for boys to attend the Jamboree so if you know any boys that are hesitant because they don't know any adults that will be going, please let me know so that I can arrange a meeting and introduce myself.  Maybe having someone local will ease any concerns the boys and/or parents may have.

I said that I am still recruiting and you may have seen or heard that our council was originally allocated only 2 positions.  I believe that has been officially increased to 4 at this time and I believe that we have 6 or more applicants from our council that have signed up.  Right now the allocation numbers are very fluid. I have been told that at this time we can take more from this council than what the allocation suggests.  There are 2 overflow troops set aside if the other troops get filled so they are telling us to get as many boys signed as we can.

Please let me know of any questions you may have and I will get the answers.
