size=2>Pre-Register </FONT></B><FONT size=2>for New Leader Essentials and
Position Specific Training taking place on Saturday, March 4, at the
University of Arkansas.</FONT></P><B></B>
<P style="MARGIN-TOP: 0pt; MARGIN-BOTTOM: 6px"
align=left><B></B> </P><B></B>
<P style="MARGIN-TOP: 0pt; MARGIN-BOTTOM: 6px" align=left><B><FONT size=2>Boy
Scout leaders</FONT></B><FONT size=2> can bring their scouts to participate in
MBU and spend their day in training. It will be timed so leaders can drop
their boys off, make it to training and then back to pick them up at the end
of the day.</FONT></P>
<P style="MARGIN-TOP: 0pt; MARGIN-BOTTOM: 6px" align=left><FONT size=2>If you
are a new leader, sign up to take <B>New Leader Essentials and Scoutmaster
part 1 Specific Training.** </B>If you have already had these sessions,
you can take <B>Scoutmaster parts 2 & 3</B> training to complete this
portion of your basic training (you still have to take Intro to Outdoor Leader
Skill Training to be fully trained.)</FONT></P>

size=2>Additionally, the <B>Committee Challenge</B> training will be offered
for Boy Scout Committee members. Again, be SURE you
pre-register.</FONT></P><B></B>

<P style="MARGIN-TOP: 0pt; MARGIN-BOTTOM: 6px" align=left><B><FONT size=2>Cub
Scout leaders </FONT></B><FONT size=2>can come for the day and take <B>New
Leader Essentials</B> and their Position Specific Training and be done.
<B>Position specific training for Tiger leaders, Cub leaders (Wolf/Bear),
Webelos, Pack Committee, and Cubmaster/Asst. Cubmaster</B> will be
offered.</FONT></P>

Training page</FONT></STRONG></SPAN><BR>We will provide instructors for every
position that we have someone pre-registered for. If you just show up you risk
not having an instructor or not having enough handout material. YES, THIS CAN
BE A PROBLEM. At the last training only 12 pre-registered and 25 showed up
causing MAJOR PROBLEMS for the volunteer trainers. We want to train everyone,
so we need you to <I>be courteous</I> and let us know you are coming by the
deadline of 7pm February 24th.</FONT></P>
<P style="MARGIN-TOP: 0pt; MARGIN-BOTTOM: 6px"><FONT size=2><B>** </B>If you
take New Leader Essentials and Scoutmaster part 1 on March 4th (or have taken
it some other time previously) you can complete this portion of basic training
on the evenings of <B>March 14 &16</B> by taking Scoutmaster Specific
parts 2 & 3 during these evenings. More details on location and a
registration form will be available soon (it will probably be at the Jones
